Take the kids to the Hesketh Farm to see the animals and go for a few rides.
The Hesketh Farm is a real working farm. They describe it like this:
Hesketh Farm is still a working farm with over 1,000 livestock including cattle, sheep and pigs. Today it is run by Chris and his wife Sue who are the fourth generation to farm here.
They have loads of things for the kids to do. Here's what you want to hear:
There are always loads of jobs to be done around the farm to look after the animals, and you can help us get them all done!
The kids could be feeding lambs or calves, or collecting eggs. Those are just a few of the things they can do. Be sure to check the schedule to make sure you get the kids to the events they want to participate in.
Besides the feeding activities, there are a quite a few playgrounds for the kids to jump around on.
