Kamari Beach is a "larger" beach that's a bit harder to get to. Once you get out there though, the bumpy drive will have been worth it.
Like most of the impressive beaches on Lefkada, you'll need to go off-road to get to this one. Any car will be able to make the trip in and out. But you'll have to dodge some good ruts here and there.
Google has this beach marked on it's map. The directions aren't really an issue though. Once you get on the dirt road, just keep driving until you see the beach.
The road and the beach are on the same level. You'll basically be parking the car right on the beach.
It's a rocky beach. The water will be very clear for snorkeling. There's a good amount of little fish to see in the water. Watch for starfish in the shallows.
Pay attention to the currents. They aren't fast but you will drift. If you're snorkeling, just pop your head up every once in a while to get your bearings.
Have fun with the kids!
